Little to no swelling due to were compression garment as suggested as well. I also had CO2 laser treated prior to surgery that also helped with texture."

"He has showed compassion and nothing but the utmost respect - Dr. Patterson hands down is the best!! He is caring, compassionate, and very honest. I had a few bumps in the road with my original surgery (I had preventative surgery for BRCA2+ genetic) and I truly don’t know what would have come out of it, had he not been my doctor. "Dr. Patterson is amazing! He did a beautiful job on my 2nd set - My personal experience w/ Dr. Patterson was years ago. I needed to have a breast implant replacement due to a leak from my previous implant.( previous Dr) Choosing Dr. Patterson the 2nd go-round was the best decision I made!!!!!. He is so compassionate, honest and very particular. which is good!. It shows in his resolutes!! He did a beautiful job on my 2nd set !!!! I’ve referred friends, close family members and my one and only child (my beautiful daughter) When she mentioned “boob job” there were no other options!! in our book-but Dr.Patterson b/c he is the absolute best across the board in our eyes. "Capsular repair - Had one breast drop and needed revision as it was a 2 inch difference. Had moved out of town so went to two different consults. Patterson did revision and 5 days post op I am pretty satisfied. There appears to be some nipple difference-one appears higher than other. There may have been some difference prior to revision and original augmentation but this is more than before. The implants do sit more evenly with one another as after original augmentation. So while i not 100% satisfied I am happy with the drooping breast no longer drooping :)"

"51 Years Old 5 Kids and my New Body - Gulf Breeze, FL - I am now 51 and have raised 5 kids and just got remarried 2 years ago. I realize I have always taken care of everyone but myself, so one day I looked in the mirror and just wasn't happy with the body I saw. It was a train wreck with stretch marks and a pouch no amount of crunches could save. I wanted my self confidence back and be able to share that with my new husband. Needless to say my husband was so supportive and wanted me to be happy, so I made the appointment. It was the best decision I could have made!Updated on 12 Jul 2016:Well I am on day 14 now of recovery and would have to say it was nothing like I thought it was going to be. I was so terrified I would be in excruciating pain and it wasn't even that level. I had the adhesive placed so I wouldn't have to have drains like many others have experienced, and I think that is why recovery has not been bad. My pain was about a 6 on the first and second day but stayed on top of my meds so it wouldn't be worse. I was able to take a shower 24 hours after surgery and see my body for the first time and wanted to cry. My body was so bruised everywhere and swollen badly needless to say my first shower was heavenly!!!! Things were going good I was in my recliner day and night like instructed by my ps when on day 5 I had a discharge coming from my new belly button and had a low grade fever. Of course it was on Sunday when his office was closed, so I got his answering service and let me tell you as soon as she paged him he was calling me. He called me in more antibiotics and gave me his cell phone number if anything else happened and told me to be in his office Tuesday since Monday was the 4th of July. Everything on Tuesday turned out fine and the staff was great to me. Day six was the first day I took pictures cause it was my glimpse that I was gonna be okay and I wanted to share them. I already posted them with my before pictures. I can honestly say everyday is different when recovering, some days you get up and feel great and other days you want to cry and then you have the days where first thing you do is take a muscle relaxer and pain pill cause you are having spasms and pain. Please ladies ask your ps to prescribe 4 things before surgery: pain meds, nausea meds, antibiotics, and muscle relaxer cause you will need them all!!!!! Oh yeah I also started arnicare 5 days prior to surgery which help you heal faster (this really works) look at my bruising in the pictures not bad at all.Well the pretty much covers everything up to my current day 14 of recovery, and today I actually went out to dinner with my husband, but let me say this after walking around and getting in and out of the car I was tired! I have so much respect for you ladies that go back to work at this point!!! I couldn't do it...my energy level just isn't there yet. I will tell you I still have tightness and swelling in my lower ab section and numbness in places but not too bad, and my tape covering my incision fell off so covered it with hospital tape to protect it. I have an appt on July 14 to check everything out and I will let you know how it goes. I will also take more pictures tomorrow and post them. "37 Years Old and Wanting to Feel "Pretty" in Clothes Again! - Pensacola, FL - I am 37 and happily married for over 12 years. Just realized how much of a boob man my husband is, LOL. "Scar Follow-up and Treatment - Excellent Care - Gulf Breeze, FL - Dr. Patterson and his staff are outstanding!!! Without going into great detail, I fell and busted my forehead open while on vacation - over 70 stitches in my forehead. I went to Dr. Patterson for follow-up care and scar treatment after being stitched up at an emergency room. The entire process turned pretty ugly since the remnants of a hurricane were coming thru Florida, blocked roads, several reschedules, etc. Dr. Patterson and his staff bent over backwards to accommodate me, removed the stitches at the right time, and spent a ton of time explaining all my scar care options. All of that for some random guy who called up out of the blue and had no potential to be a long term patient.They really care about people here and provide outstanding care."

That can make for a very self conscious, insecure woman. The opportunity became available at the age of 56 to have a tummy tuck. I did extensive research and found the perfect plastic surgeon. Dr Nathan Patterson who amazes me with his brilliance and skill performed the perfect abdominoplasty on me and made all my dreams come true. I am now a 56 year old woman with a perfectly flat stomach.Updated on 21 Apr 2015:The importance of a nicotine free body is essential for the healing process after a tummy tuck at any age. I was concerned about the length of the healing process at the age of 56 and assumed it would take me a little longer. I also thought the pain level would be unbearable. I suggest to anyone prior to surgery to look up the care of drainage tubes after surgery on UTube which I was terrified of until I saw a girl demonstrate the post op procedure. When I woke up from my abdominoplasty I was in a compression garment with a drainage tube on the left and right side of the incision. My post op pain level was surprisingly low which I think was contributed to the skill of the surgeon. It is very important to go into this type of surgery knowing that afterwards that the less you do the less swelling you will have and the speedier you recovery will be. Don't forget ice, ice and then more ice. It will become your best friend. You may want to prepare something to occupy the time such as reading a good book and getting some really good movies to watch for the first two weeks of healing. You will need help especially if you have small children. It's imperative to stay off your feet for the healing and swelling process. I've had a remarkable speedy recovery because I kept standing and walking at a minimum for those first two weeks . Prior to surgery make sure you have at home plenty of ice, ice packs or refreezable gel packs. After two weeks both my drainage tubes were out, not in the same day and my stitches were out. The third post op week I started doing a little more but not over doing it and still using ice. So far, my recovery has been quick and the swelling to a minimum. Expect a significant amount of swelling to go down in about 8 weeks and the residual to take up to a year. I'm 3 weeks post op and have 5 more weeks . The third week I've noticed a remarkable difference each day. Just have patience with your body. Before and after pictures will be following about mid May. Like they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.Updated on 16 Mar 2020:Still have flat tummy and it's never been flat. I was terrified. For one thing I had to hurdle no more nicotine. After surgery give yourself time for the swelling to go down.I thought the drainage tubes would be a nightmare so I had someone initially do it but after the second or third day I started doing it myself because it was not a big deal."
