What Is Liposuction?

What Is the Surgical Technique?
Liposuction is performed in an outpatient setting with the patient under general anesthesia. A small incision is made in the skin to insert a cannula, a specialized tool used to loosen and vacuum out the fat. Once the desired amount of fat has been removed, the incision is sealed. Depending on the number of areas treated, the procedure may take between 1 – 3 hours. After surgery, in the recovery area, a post-op nurse will assist in managing pain and caring for your incisions until you are ready for discharge.

He also told very very detailed information about all options available and any risks with it, which was mostly none. He was very professional and helpful.
