He did an amazing job at explaining what all is involved with the makeover, he explained the different procedures to include pros and cons. He even drew pictures to show how my body would be put pack together. He offered pictures of past procedures before and after. "Just a note of Thanks to Dr. Patterson and his staff. I am so thankful for everyone in his office for taking such good care of me. Dr. Patterson is one of the Best doctors in Pensacola. I decided back in 2010 to have breast implants put in due to nursing 3 children. Dr. Patterson is a perfectionist and I am thankful for that. Dr. Patterson also did a breast reduction for my daughter due to severe back pain and now the back pain is gone and we were able to get her off of pain medicine. May 2024 I had my implants removed due to having rheumatoid arthritis and severe back pain. As of now I am 3 days post opp and feel so much better. I wish I could remember everyone’s name in his office because they deserve Recognition for going above and beyond being helpful. "Dr Patterson is the most ethically sound and moral person I’ve ever encountered in the medical field. I went for liposuction because I’m overweight and he sat down with me for at least 20 minutes explaining subcutaneous and visceral fat and demonstrated to me how this $5000 surgery would not bring me the results I was looking for. So kind and honest, really beyond impressed with him as a doctor and person. I would go here if you’re considering surgery as he’s honest and that is hard to find these days."

"Dr. Patterson and the entire staff from the receptionists at the front desk, to the nurses, and surgery coordinators have been AMAZING at Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery! Everyone was wonderful with their affiliated surgical center as well! I experienced a saline breast implant rupture. The initial implant surgery was done 10+ years ago and performed by another surgeon who is no longer in the area. I was referred to Dr. Patterson by my previous surgeon. I was able to be seen quickly, have all my questions answered, and anxiety put at ease. My breast implant removal surgery and recovery have gone wonderful! "Loved having appointment at Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery. Dr. Patterson was very wonderful in explaining everything to me and answering any and all of the questions I had. He also told very very detailed information about all options available and any risks with it, which was mostly none. He was very professional and helpful. I had liposuction in mind for breast enlargement, but since I am very lean, Dr. Patterson suggested the implants for a better results. Although I was scared of implants due to the bad verbiage it has online, Dr. Patterson explained the myths and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. At the end of the appointment I have changed my mind and decided to get implants instead. Thanks to so much detailed information and feedback from Dr. Patterson. His staff was also very friendly and helpful. Overall my visit was great and I walked out relaxed and curtain about the upcoming procedure. Don’t read the internet on those procedures, it will scare you off, go to Dr. Patterson who will debunk all myths and tell you everything to make your mind at ease and your options open. They always made sure I was okay throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Patterson was very honest from the start of what he would recommend for me to get done. But, there was never any pressure to do it and I didn’t feel like I was being made to do something based off money. Dr. Patterson and his team actually cared about what I wanted and they take great pride in their practice. It’s not just a business to them, they genuinely care about your outcome and happiness. One important thing that Dr. Patterson shared with me in my consultation was the importance of allowing myself to heal. I knew this would be the most difficult part, but i listened to his advice and i am pleased with how my body has healed. I knew going in to the surgery that i would miss a lot of fun summer gatherings ( including pool parties and beach events) but i know i would not be experiencing the excellent results if i didnt listen to his advice. "Dr. Paterson and his staff are so amazing!! I had to have a breast reduction surgery recently and both he and his team are amazing at communicating with each other and their patient!! Even going as far as to call me a few hours after surgery to ask if I was still feeling okay. They helped me with my insurance plan and let me know all the risks and exactly what was going to happen while I was under so that I woke up with no suprises. I already feel the difference. My once nearly incurable pain in my neck and shoulders are completely gone. The only pain I feel is where I actually got cut. But even then it just feels like a cat scratch and is in no way to painful to have. Dr. Paterson even took his time to make sure the room I was in was placed perfectly so that he could work and I still be comfortable. They truly care about their patients and I love them!!"

That can make for a very self conscious, insecure woman. The opportunity became available at the age of 56 to have a tummy tuck. I did extensive research and found the perfect plastic surgeon. Dr Nathan Patterson who amazes me with his brilliance and skill performed the perfect abdominoplasty on me and made all my dreams come true. I am now a 56 year old woman with a perfectly flat stomach.Updated on 21 Apr 2015:The importance of a nicotine free body is essential for the healing process after a tummy tuck at any age. I was concerned about the length of the healing process at the age of 56 and assumed it would take me a little longer. I also thought the pain level would be unbearable. I suggest to anyone prior to surgery to look up the care of drainage tubes after surgery on UTube which I was terrified of until I saw a girl demonstrate the post op procedure. When I woke up from my abdominoplasty I was in a compression garment with a drainage tube on the left and right side of the incision. My post op pain level was surprisingly low which I think was contributed to the skill of the surgeon. It is very important to go into this type of surgery knowing that afterwards that the less you do the less swelling you will have and the speedier you recovery will be. Don't forget ice, ice and then more ice. It will become your best friend. You may want to prepare something to occupy the time such as reading a good book and getting some really good movies to watch for the first two weeks of healing. You will need help especially if you have small children. It's imperative to stay off your feet for the healing and swelling process. I've had a remarkable speedy recovery because I kept standing and walking at a minimum for those first two weeks . Prior to surgery make sure you have at home plenty of ice, ice packs or refreezable gel packs. After two weeks both my drainage tubes were out, not in the same day and my stitches were out. The third post op week I started doing a little more but not over doing it and still using ice. So far, my recovery has been quick and the swelling to a minimum. Expect a significant amount of swelling to go down in about 8 weeks and the residual to take up to a year. I'm 3 weeks post op and have 5 more weeks . The third week I've noticed a remarkable difference each day. Just have patience with your body. Before and after pictures will be following about mid May. Like they say, a picture speaks a thousand words.Updated on 16 Mar 2020:Still have flat tummy and it's never been flat. I was terrified. For one thing I had to hurdle no more nicotine. After surgery give yourself time for the swelling to go down.I thought the drainage tubes would be a nightmare so I had someone initially do it but after the second or third day I started doing it myself because it was not a big deal."
